The proceeds from this silent auction will support First Responders Children’s Foundation in its effort to provide financial assistance to our nation’s first responders and their families.  Online bidding will end on June 2 at 12 pm EST.  Final bidding will take place in person at the Awards Gala.

2021 Hero Awards Gala

Outstanding. Selfless. Tireless.

First Responders Children’s Foundation hosted its annual Hero Awards Gala in New York City on National First Responders Day, October 28, 2021.  This year’s honorees included first responders who risked their lives in service to their communities. Each went above and beyond the call of duty.  “The Roll Call of Heroes” (above from L to R) honored Sergeant Robert Zoubek of Park Falls, Wisconsin, Firefighter Michael Mire, Assistant Chief of the Houston Fire Department in Houston, Texas,  Paramedic/EMT  Michael Liverzani from Mamaroneck, NY, ER Nurse Amy O’Sullivan of Wyckoff Hospital, Brooklyn, NY,  Patient Care Technician Guy Soumah of Troy, New York and retired 911 Dispatcher Gladys Mitchell of Bronx, New York.
 
The Foundation presented a Corporate Hero Award to the CEO of SERVPRO, Rick Isaacson and the Toy Express Hero Award was presented to President and Chief Operating Officer of Mattel, Richard Dickson.
 
First Responders Children’s Foundation is proud to honor distinguished individuals and corporate partners for their effort and passion in supporting our nation’s first responders and their families.  Proceeds from the event help underwrite scholarship and grant programs for first responder families.
